米夏埃拉‧瑟林格的歌唱生涯始於2004年在日內瓦大劇院演出《帕西法爾》，擔綱「花之少女」一角。 這位奧地利的聲樂家在2005-2010年曾為維也納國家歌劇院的成員。自此之後，她展開了她的國際演唱之路，包括歌劇及音樂會演出，足跡遍及蘇黎士歌劇院、格林德本藝術節、萊茵歌劇院、里昂歌劇院、東京新國家劇院、維也納金色大廳、維也納音樂廳及薩爾茲堡音樂節。 她曾擔綱演出許多歌劇的要角，包括：史特勞斯《玫瑰騎士》中的奧克塔文伯爵、《納克索斯島上的阿麗雅德妮》中的作曲家、莫札特《費加洛婚禮》中的凱魯比諾，以及《依多美尼歐》中的伊達孟特。 在2013/14樂季中，她完成了她的美國首演，與芝加哥交響樂團及指揮家穆蒂同台，她的羅馬首演則是在聖塞西莉亞學院管弦樂團。她曾與指揮家史提芬‧史托爾泰茲合作，在盧森堡大劇院演出《玫瑰騎士》中的奧克塔文伯爵一角，在埃森阿爾托劇院演出馬斯奈歌劇《維特》中的夏綠蔕。她也曾與維也納交響樂團及指揮家艾弗‧博爾頓合作，演出莫札特「安魂曲」。 在2014/15樂季，瑟林格與指揮家穆蒂合作，在羅馬歌劇院擔綱莫札特《費加洛婚禮》中的凱魯比諾，也在萊比錫歌劇院演出《納克索斯島上的阿麗雅德妮》中的作曲家。她在維也納金色大廳演出貝多芬第四號交響曲，也在埃森阿爾託劇院參與《依多美尼歐》的全新製作演出。瑟林格在2015夏天的薩爾茲堡藝術節中與薩爾茲堡室內樂團、指揮家路易斯‧蘭格里及荷賽普‧卡巴耶‧多明尼克合作，分別演出莫札特C小調彌撒曲及莫札特安魂曲。 未來她將與兩位最重要的新世代導演策尼亞柯夫（在里昂歌劇院演出蕭斯塔科維契《馬克白》）及楚林斯基（在華沙歌劇院演出華格那《崔斯坦與伊索德》）合作。此外，她將再次參與薩爾茲堡音樂節，參與史特勞斯《達妮之愛》的2016全新製作演出。

Michaela Selinger started her career in 2004 at the Grand Theatre of Geneva in Wagners Parsifal as Flower Maiden. The Austrian artist was member of the Vienna State Opera (Director Ioan Holender) from 2005 to 2010. Since then an international career has developed including opera and concert appearances, amongst others, at Opera Zurich, Glyndebourne Festival, Opéra du Rhin, Opéra du Lyon, New National Theatre Tokio, Vienna Musikverein, Vienna Konzerthaus and Salzburg Festival. Her most important parts in opera include Octavian in Strauss' Rosenkavalier, Komponist in Strauss' Ariadne auf Naxos, Cherubino in Mozarts Le Nozze and Idamante in Mozarts Idomeneo. In the last season 13/14 she gave her US debut with Chicago Sinfony Orchestra and Maestro Muti and her debut at Accademia di Santa Cecilia in Rome. She sang Octavian in Strauss' Rosenkavalier at the Grand Théatre de Luxembourg with Stefan Soltesz and Charlotte in Massenets Werther in a new production at the Aalto Theatre Essen. At the Vienna Konzerthaus she sang in Mozarts Requiem together with Vienna Sinfonic Orchestra and Ivor Bolton. The season 14/15 led Michaela Selinger to the Opera di Roma, where she was performing Cherubino in Mozarts Le Nozze with Maestro Muti. For the Opera Leipzig she sang Komponist in Strauss' Ariadne auf Naxos. At the Vienna Musikverein she performed in Beethoven IX. Sinfony. She sang Idamante in a new production at the Aalto Theatre Essen, in Mozarts Mass in c minor and Mozarts Requiem with the Camerata Accademica Salzburg conducted by Louis Langrée and Josep Caballé Domenech as well as for the Salzburg Festival in Summer 2015. Future engagements will bring the cooperation with two of the most important stage directors of the young generation, Dmitri Tcherniakov (Shostakovich Lady Macbeth at Lyon Opera) and Mariusz Trelinski (Wagners Tristan at Warsaw Opera). Moreover she will be guesting again at the Salzburg Festival in the new production of Strauss' "Liebe der Danae" in 2016.
