艾庫特，生於1985年的土耳其首都-安卡拉。在2000年，他進入畢爾肯大學（Bilkent University）就讀音樂和表演藝術學院，並專攻打擊樂器的修習。一開始，他就與名列畢爾肯大學最傑出打擊樂教師之一的艾丁‧馬吉德（Aydın Mecid）學習。2001年，他加入畢爾肯青年交響樂團（Bilkent Youth Symphony Orchestra），並且在一年之後就被授予表演嘉賓的身分。 在2003年，他完成了高等專業學位課程，又接續在畢爾肯大學音樂與表演藝術學院獲得打擊樂器的學士學位。 2004年6月，他以打擊樂手的身分加入安那托利亞青年管弦樂團（Anatolian Youth Orchestra），此樂團是由世界著名的鋼琴作曲家-法佐‧賽依（Fazıl Say）所成立。也因此為艾庫特帶來許多國內外的音樂會演奏機會。當他完成他的學士學位修習，並獲得名譽學位；同時，他也已經擁有許多機會為各國著名樂團演奏，如:德國的法蘭克福廣播管弦樂團（hr-Sinfonieorchester）、法國國立管弦樂團（l'Orchestre National d'Île de France）、法國蒙貝利耶管弦樂團（Orchestre National Montpellier）、海牙管弦樂團（Resident Orkest）、瑞士的蘇黎世室內樂團（Züricher Kammerorchester）、新日本愛樂樂團（New Japan Philarmonic）、德國科隆WDR交響樂團（WDR Sinfonieorchester Köln）、瑞士盧森交響樂團（Luzerner Sinfonieorchester）以及土耳其伊斯坦堡愛樂樂團（Borusan İstanbul Filarmoni Orchestra）。 他也曾多次擔任法佐‧賽依眾多曲目的世界首演樂手之一。2005年六月參與第四鋼琴奏鳴曲（4. Piano Concert）的演出、2006年二月參與演出帕塔拉芭蕾組曲（“Patara” ballet suite）、2011年七月參與演出海亞姆單簧管協奏曲（“Hayyam” Clarinet Concerto）。並在2008年二月的後宮的一千零一夜小提琴協奏曲（“1001 Nights in the Harem” Violin Concerto）、2010年三月的伊斯坦堡交響曲（“İstanbul” Symphony）以及2012年三月的黑瑟芬奈伊笛協奏曲（“Hezarfen” Ney Concerto）皆擔任打擊樂器獨奏。 而從2013年一月開始，艾庫特也在土耳其的薩姆松市立歌劇院暨芭蕾舞團（Samsun State Opera and Ballet Orchestra）擔任打擊樂手。 He was born in Ankara in 1985. In 2000 he was accepted to the Percussion Department of the Faculty of Music and Performing Arts of Bilkent University. He first studied with Aydın Mecid, one of the prominent percussion instructors at Bilkent University. He joined in 2001 Bilkent Youth Symphony Orchestra where he was granted the status of guest performer at Bilkent Symphony Orchestra a year later. He completed his secondary education with a high degree and studied toward his bachelor's degree in percussion in 2003 at the Faculty of Music and Performing Arts of Bilkent University. In June 2004, he joined the Anatolian Youth Orchestra as a percussionist, which was set up by world-renowned piano composer Fazıl Say. This was followed by a series of concerts he gave at home and abroad. By the time he completed his bachelor's degree with an honorary degree, he had already found the opportunity to play in many important orchestras such as hr-Sinfonieorchester, l'Orchestre National d'Île de France, Orchestre National Montpellier, Resident Orkest, Züricher Kammerorchester, New Japan Philarmonic, WDR Sinfonieorchester Köln, Luzerner Sinfonieorchester and Borusan İstanbul Filarmoni Orchestra. In January 2013 he took up his current position as a percussionist at Samsun State Opera and Ballet Orchestra and since then he has been performing in world premiers the recent compositions of Fazıl Say, such as 4. Piano Concerto (June, 2005), "Patara" ballet suite (February, 2006), "Hayyam" Clarinet Concerto (July, 2011), "1001 Nights in the Harem" Violin Concerto (Soloist / February, 2008), "İstanbul" Symphony (Soloist / March, 2010), "Hezarfen" Ney Concerto (Soloist / March, 2012), Symphony No.2 "Mesopotamia" (op.38/June, 2012), Symphony No.3 "Universe" (op.43/October, 2012) and "Sait Fâik" (op.51/June, 2014).
