理查．貝利斯、德里克．泰勒和安德魯克拉克三人，過去於英國倫敦的皇家音樂學院 (RAM) 修讀法國號。這段期間，貝利斯在RAM 弦樂隊出任獨奏、在海頓的協奏曲擔任雙號，也在布里頓的小夜曲出任男高音、法國號與弦樂器。
而作為一位獨奏家，貝利斯曾與BBC交響樂團以及聖馬丁學院樂團合作演出。除此之外，貝利斯也曾經與許多英國於這個領域當中，數一數二的樂團合作，包括英國皇家愛樂樂團、北愛爾蘭阿爾斯特管弦樂團、倫敦莫札特演奏樂團、英國室內管弦樂團、挪威廣播交響樂團，古爾基本安樂團等等，亦曾經擔任蘇格蘭室內樂團之客座首席。不僅如此，身為天生法國號演奏者的貝利斯，也曾於加百利樂團、英國巴洛克獨奏家、倫敦韓德爾樂團、古代音樂學院等，出任首席的角色。理查德同時也是歌里亞德管樂五重奏樂團的創始成員之一，可以經常於英國的BBC第三電臺，以及經典FM的頻道上聽見他們的作品。
Richard Bayliss
French Horn、Natural Horn
Richard studied the horn at the Royal Academy of Music (RAM) in London with Derek Taylor and Andrew Clark. During this time he appeared as soloist with the RAM String Orchestra in Haydn's Concerto for two horns and Britten's Serenade for tenor, horn and strings.
As a soloist, Richard has performed with the BBC Symphony Orchestra and the Academy of St Martin in the fields Richard has performed with many of the UK’s leading Orchestras, including the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, Ulster Orchestra, London Mozart Players, English Chamber and has performed as guest principal with Scottish Chamber Orchestras, the Norwegian radio orchestra and the Gulbenkian Orchestra, and as a natural horn player he has performed as principal with the Gabrieli Consort, English Baroque Soloists, London Handel Orchestra, and the Academy of Ancient Music. Richard is a founding member of the Galliard Ensemble Wind Quintet, with whom can often be heard in the UK on BBC Radio 3 and Classic FM.
